The short version

There are no accounts on this site. You can browse the entire directory without telling us anything about yourself. We collect two things, both only when you choose to send them.

What we collect

1. Your email, if you submit a listing or contact us

When you submit a group, organization, event, or resource, we ask for your email address so a steward can follow up — usually to ask a question or to send back notes if something needs changing. That address is stored privately. It is never published, never shown on any public page, never returned by our public API, and never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.

The same applies to the contact form. We use your address to reply to you and for nothing else.

2. Contact details you choose to publish on a listing

If you submit a group, you tell us how you want men to reach you — an email address, a link to your page, or a link to your own form. That is published on your listing, because being reachable is the entire purpose of the listing. Submitting it is how you consent to publishing it.

Be aware that anything published on a public web page can be read by automated scrapers. We lightly obfuscate published email addresses to slow the simplest ones, but we cannot promise an address published on the open web stays private. If that concerns you, publish a link or a form instead of an email address.

What we do not collect

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and has no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to. The matching quiz runs entirely in your browser and saves nothing — reload the page and your answers are gone by design.

Third parties

Links out to a group's own site, a registration page, or a resource go to services we do not control, with their own policies.

How long we keep things

Approved listings stay while they are accurate. Submitter email addresses and rejected submissions are cleared out periodically — we aim for around 90 days — since there is no reason to hold them longer.

Your choices

Ask us to correct or remove anything you sent, including your listing and your email address, and we will. Write to us through the contact page. There is no account to close because there was never one to open.
